Trip To Spain
A New Adventure
In June of 2025 we traveled to Galicia, Spain. Galicia is a region located in the Northwest part of Spain. The Rubia Gallega breed originates from this region.
We were fortunate enough to have a tour of a research facility. Spanning across beautiful Spanish countryside, the facility housed many diverse groups of all ages. The tour provided great insight into this amazing breed.

We continued to be fortunate enough to be invited to tour just a few of the amazing farms around the region. Our first farm visit was home to a few of the genetics we are currently using. We were able to see and take pictures with two of our dams. The passion even the younger generation shows for their animals is truly inspiring. The time and care they put into their herds is top notch.

On our trip we were able to visit the collection facility and build the relationship between us the embryologists. We were also lucky enough to meet other members of the American Rubia community along with a couple other foreign breeders.
Collaboration
Building a strong solid association foundation. This trip provided ample opportunities for the breeders and embryologists to discuss all aspects of the breed.
